Abstract: International Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering have established European Technical Committee 10 (ETC 10) which main issue is an analysis and evaluation of implementation of Eurocode 7 rules into European countries engineering practice. During the works of ETC 10 a set of design examples was worked out, which was subsequently released in internet so as wider range of geotechnical engineers could solve them obeying the rules of Eurocode 7. The first set of these examples was published in 2005. Results and analysis of it were later shown during International Workshop in Dublin in 2005. In 2009 a second set of design examples was released. It consisted of six examples. Considered in article example 2.2 concerns a square pad footing with inclined load on boulder clay. This work shows proposition of solving this task and gives the results of it obtained with application of partial factors for all design approaches according to Eurocode 7 as well as results obtained using characteristic values of actions, soil parameters and soil resistance. Additionally calculations with use of polish standard PN- 81/B-03020 were made.
