Abstract: Designing microtunnelling chambers is associated with making many independent decisions concerning technical, technological, economic and social issues. One of the methods to assist in this regard, to take reasonable decisions is the method of AHP (Analytical Hierarchical Process). The article presents the procedure for determining support the decision by the designer based on AHP methodology and an example calculation. Based on the results obtained can be determine which method is “best” for use in the design of microtunneling shaft. AHP method also allows you to defi ne “quality” assessment of the expert by the estimated parameters CR and CI.
