Abstract: This article presents the main characteristics of precipitation in the north-eastern part of the Pomeranian Lake District. Total annual precipitation ranges from about 660 mm to 700 mm. Warm period and cold period precipitation totals account for about 400 mm and 270 mm respectively. The highest values of seasonal precipitation are characteristic for summer, (212 - 233 mm). Autumn precipitation totals (173 - 189 mm) exceed both spring and winter precipitation totals (133 - 153 mm) which reveals the influence of the Baltic Sea on the course of precipitation in this region. There are positive trends in changes of annual, warm and cold half year and seasonal precipitation totals observed in investigated area in the period 1971-2010.
