Title: Modelling of aerobic sludge stabilization using equations of different orders
Authors: KAZIMIERCZAK, M.
Keywords: aerobic digestion of sewage sludges, kinetic of disappearance of organic matter, sewage sludges
Abstract: Analysis of the concentration of organic matter in sewage sludges during the aerobic digestion indicates that the reaction of the first order does not properly describe a series of measurements. In this paper other orders of reaction were analyzed to describe the results better. The reaction of the fourth order received best approximation, however, it is necessary to find more advanced models for the description disappearance of these substances.
