Title: Environmental conditions influence on the implementation costs on the example of rebuilding part of the national road S7

Abstract: The S7 national road rebuilding served as an example to present environment protection methods when realizing engineering structures. Used technical solution has been chosen to match specific environmental conditions that can be found along the sample parts of the road. European and national legislation which is the basis for the study, determine technical and environmental requirements of the road constructions. According to this legislation environmentally protected components have been selected as well as devices (systems) that serve as their protection. Subsequently, financial analysis of the implementation coast has been conducted. This was done with special emphasis on environmental costs. It was proven that acoustic screens implementation is a significant part of such costs. In the end, necessity to conduct preservation works and nurturing of the greenery was highlighted, as being indispensable part of the designed and implemented protection.
