Title: Hydrodynamic and hydromorphological conditions in two streams in the Gorce Mountains in the Polish Carpathians

Abstract: The results of the analysis of hydromorphological parameters and hydrodynamic of neighbouring catchments Jaszcze and Jamne streams, located in Gorce. Analysis of the hydrodynamic conditions of the streams leads to the conclusion that the two small streams valleys of similar geological structure and relief, the area in the same physical-geographical units have different conditions of flow parameters. The aim of this article is compare the hydrodynamic parameters in Jaszcze and Jamne streams. In the light of the entry in the Polish EU Water Framework Directive and bring water to a good ecological status should take into account local conditions, hydrodynamic stream, in order to predict the trough sections requiring restoration. Evaluation of hydromorphological stream, made on an average of the parameters can lead to serious errors, as often local transformation trough substantially affect the ecological status of the stream.
