Abstract: This paper presents the results of the reconstruction of the retention reservoir on the Gnida River in Leźnica Wielka. The technical condition of this water reservoir before the renovation has been valued as well. The reconstruction works have improved the condition of the rebuilt dams, modernized intake tower and dewatering conduit. The technical solutions and basic parameters of the reconstructed objects have been described. The modernization of this water reservoir has reduced the environmental danger and has improved. the flood safety and the landscape and aesthetic features.
