Abstract: This paper presents the stability analysis of stage-constructed embankment on soft organic subsoil in the Antoniny site. Calculations were carried out with the use of prediction of increase in undrained shear strength in determined zones with different failure mechanisms in subsoil. The stability analysis was made for first and third stages of embankment construction using limit equilibrium method.
