Abstract: The main task of each project manager is to complete the project with profits and on time. To achieve this the costs and deadlines have to be tracked on real time. Methodology EVM can be used to monitor the project and MS Project can be tool by which the results will be obtained. The article describes the basic assumptions of the method and program options, which have huge impact on the determination of EVM indicators.
