Abstract: The filtration and clogging problems are very important in clear water and especially leachate drainage systems. The paper presents the laboratory results of water permeability in the normal direction to the plane, of exploited and unexploited non-woven geotextile samples collected from the Radiowo sanitary landfill. The studies design and analysis described, have determined the velocity index and permeability coefficient at a head loss of 50 mm for the tested non-woven geotextile. Moreover, within the paper the influence of non-woven geotextile clogging on the water permeability was assessed.
