Abstract: In this paper we present a system which monitors the elevation of water table on Lower Biebrza basin floodlands. It consists of automatic Mini-Diver® (model no. DI501) sensors. Eight of them are put in the channel of the river whereas nineteen are placed on floodlands. We discuss the verification of sensors’ indications and elaborate on possible system’s applications for creating maps of flooding areas reach and of the variability of flood waters on Lower Biebrza Basin.
