Abstract: The paper presents results of analyses actual technical state of Sosnowek weir on the Augustow Canal. Were conducted the general inspections of object and the quantity survey of constructional elements of weir was executed. The state of the constructional elements was assessed and the observations of changes that appeared during time of utilizing the weir has been conducted. States of waterside constructional elements of weir are in bed condition, a lot of cracks of construction and decrements of concrete. Top surfaces abutments and wings overgrow in large degree mosses and the algae cover. In considerable degree boards on the bed of stilling basin and protection of downstream are damaged.
